Thanks, Sorry, the news was on in the background, in the end I wrapped it in tape and poured epoxy over it, I usesd JSRs tip with the drill bit wrapped in tape on the end end to keep it centered. This is actually the second attempt with these parts, the first one was a few inches longer but when glued the barrel sagged so i dremaled off the end and tried again.

Lookin good there!
After seeing the multitude of pen guns posted in the last few weeks I decided to try building one.
Lol, yeah...what is up with pen-guns gaining popularity like crazy all of a sudden? (I'm guessing JSR is behind it somehow) :D lol

Or mine cough cough. Just kidding. Jsr started it a while back, then it was Rcman5013, jook13, then sticky tapes then my old one. I guess mine just re-stirred things a little, but the original concept of a pengun is Jsr's idea.

It would be cool to have more hybrids around but pen guns only cost about 10 bucks to build and a few hours max unless you machine the piston

Funny enough me and gun freak were discussing a hybrid pen gun yesterday, hybrids still win in power every time though.

If my own small hybrid experiments are anything to go by, I would tend to agree. A piezo or hot wire ignition system could also conceivably me made small enough to fit in a pen sized package.
