After some months on display, I was playing with this and realised that it was all gummed up, nothing moved! Turns out - shock horror - that some dissimilar metals don't like being in close proximity
I remedied the situation by chopping it up and re-making the work bits out of brass, herewith the result:

it doesn't fly as well with the brass "tail" because the CG is pulled back, but looks much better without any Delrin.Maybe one dayThe museum called...they want their showpiece back...
