Ok well i have a 3 gallon craftsmen compressor which works fine but with even an average size chamber fired repeatedly it takes a min for it to catch up.
so what i want to do is add another compressor to the tank,
i have another old compressor which i got off of an old 25 gal tank.
my questions are this
The grey thing is a capacitor but is the blue one a capacitor to?
can i wire the new pump to the same pressure switch without it affecting how the craftsmen pump operates?
and if they both hook up right i plan to try and mount the new pump to the tank also, but what would be the best thing to use? jb weld or what?

Yes, there both capacitors, i think. What's it say on them? does it have"uf" or "WVDC or WVAC"?

Yep, there capacitors. It seems one of them is a motor run capacitor, and the other is a filter.

Might want to check the rating (amps@vac) on the pressure switch and compare that with the starting and operating current for both motors.
The current draw through the switch might be too high.
Also, keep in mind that the compressor is only corded for 15amps, and the outlet you're plugging into is likely similarly limited.
Over that, and you'll just blow the breaker. (If you're lucky.)

alright well this morning right when i got off work i went and tested everything. first let me say that the bolt holding the piston arm on the compressor pump sheared off a few years back and thats why i haven't done nothing with this until now. but i was unable to get the bolt out of the wheel so i just drilled a hole into it and epoxied the arm back to where it was.
anyways this morning i first unhooked the craftsmen from the pressure switch and hooked up the other pump to it to make sure the bond between the epoxy and the arm and wheel was good i left it run for about 30 seconds and it all worked good, so i hooked both compressors to the pressure switch and turned it on and for about 2 seconds they both ran but then the arm broke off again. so i unplugged it. but it seems as though it will work.
also i was using some kind of stick epoxy the kind where you cut off how much you need and squish it together with your hands, it said it was for all types of metal so i chose it. but it failed.
any ideas on what i should try to get the bond i need? in the picture above you can see what im talking about.
