It all started in sixth grade when me and my brother started hanging out with a guy named Tom. We basically became breakin' buddies (well, that's what we called ourselves), and discovered the magic of youtube. We decided afterward to pool some of our money to build our first pneumatic. $25, a few days of labor, and some JB weld later, it was finished.
The gun sucked. It sort of disappeared when each of us decided to actually design and build our own guns for a little competition (which I won, thanks to research).
So now my brother and I are just two suburban kids showcasing our creations on youtube.
Wow...it sounds like I just gave my life story...

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

My story's the similar to Starman's. I heard of tennisball mortars from a friend back in 6th or 7th grade, from a book called Backyard Ballistics. There were also chapters in the book on two simple combustion and pneumatic cannons. From there, I just started surfing the web for potato cannon websites. I found out about SpudTech shortly after, and was a member of the forums there for quite a while. Then I was on probation up until I was 18, and when I finally got off probation, I registered at SpudFiles.
