is there any difference between using a regular PVC pipe and smooth bore or PVC vs rifled. i check BL but they didn't have any test results for regular PVC.

Well if you do the rifled barrel will provide much more accuracy compared to the smoothbore.

If you give it the wrong twist rate then it can actually decrease accuracy...
