(Interesting. I remember seeing a post on here that said that a typical solder joint would be rated to about 3000 PSI, including safety factor.)

i have personally tested regular water supply soldered joints up to 800 psi, no leaks with a hydrostatic pressure test( hook it up and pump water in at high levels of pressure)
and no blow outs
