Spudtech (forums) is gone. Gone gone. What do we have to lose?Sounds interesting, but I have a feeling we'd lose a lot of members because it wouldn't be the same. Spudtech was a high class place and merging it with this would not keep the same atmoshpere.

Important note: this conversion tool WILL WORK with existing phpbb users - the conversion finds the next free userid then migrates users beginning with that ID. The conversion tool also checks all Snitz users for the same username as existing phpbb users - if an identical username is found, the converter will delete the Snitz user and reassign all their posts to the phpbb user. This means you can merge Snitz and phpbb user databases.

I know you were only kidding but just for the record, I like it here. The ads bug me (on all sites) but I understand why they're here. Overall though, it's gonna be different. Ads are the only way the Internet stays together. If there was no such thing as ads, then the only sites online would be commercial websites.
