elitesniper:yes we have not seen the damage of it but I think everybody nows it is capable of more than anything else on this site.
I was just thinking and thought of that big bertha air cannon recently submited and maybey would have more strength than fear but Id doubt it because of the flow restricting sprinklers. but if it had a 6in porting valve i would say it would outpower fear.
spudfarm: sorry to say but even at 10x the hybrid you are working on will not outpower fear in any way. but it will be extremely powerful anyway. Probably with power levels similar if not greater than
SWAT

I think my "General" beats big blue. But there's no way it's the most powerful on the site. It has about 20,903.184 J of energy per shot.

oh sorry I looked at your post and saw the link in your signature. Thought that was the cannon you were reffering too. Short sighted on my part.

Firstly, I would like to state that rcman's claim about his "General" is a load of genuine, grade A [bovine excrement]. It's a rather small gasoline powered combustion, for those of you who didn't know, and would be lucky to hit 3 000 joules of muzzle energy, much less 20k. Rcman, if EVBEC told you that "General" gets 20k joules, it is broken, and should be euthanised.
Our hybrids will both overpower SWAT and the SCTBDC, even when I get the SCTBDC running on helium. Pneumatics just can't compete on a large scale without extreme high pressure compressors. I ran a GGDT on Big Bertha, but it can't touch the SCTBDC in any aspect. With a 6" porting valve it and a MUCH longer barrel it would beat the SCTBDC and me and Spudfarm's twin hybrids, but still wouldn't come close to FEAR.
Right now, FEAR has the highest potential, followed by my SCTBDC, and schmanman's SWAT. Both me and schmanman are (as far as I can tell) working like mad on upgrades, but I think I have a bit of a lead on him for now.
The [redacted] would be slightly more powerful than FEAR if I went a bit outside the safety factor, but Killjoy (FEAR's owner) is still the clear winner, because he has the space for a much longer barrel than I do, and he could bring it to much higher mixes than he has.
Spudfarm's hybrid will be a near complete match to the one I'm working on right now, so they will be tied for second when we finish. I don't how spudfarm is doing, but my ignition system is in the mail, and I'm ordering the parts for the fueling system this week. Regardless, our current projects can't compete with FEAR, and very few hobbyist gas guns ever will.
On a side note, ever notice that all of the really big and advanced guns have abbreviations for names (a tradition I intend to continue on my prototype hybrid, as well as my [redacted] project).

Oh well I may have done something wrong then. I used E=1/2mv^2. I used a little office calculator too so that may have caused an error too. I must be tired. That's the second mistke I've made in one post.
Anyway I also want to make a smaller JASPER gun in the future. For those of you who don't know what a JASPER is. https://www.llnl.gov/str/June04/Martinez.html

plus, i think big blue can stand a chance against the general, big blue now has a 6 foot barrel and the chamber is increased by 12.5 inches
