Accurate bbmg!

Hi!
I was just thinking that if you took a 24 volt capacitor, hooked it up to a 9 volt battery, and hooked that assembly up to a solenoid valve and a switch, it would lead to a breakthrough in bbmg technology! In my head it works like this, when the circuits are all closed, the battery continuosly charges up the capacitor, which then discharges into the solenoid, making a perfectly measured shot, this process would keep repeating until you let go of the switch.
So whaddaya think?

I'm not sure if i want to build it just yet, i'm still trying to decide whether i should build a pneumatic bolt-action, or a semi auto(also with a solenoid)
I was just putting this idea out there.

this wont work unless you have some kind of ocillating circuit triggering a transistor. Why use a 24V cap? it will only charge to 9v, no matter what current you put into it. Also, with no switch, the power would slowely bleed from the solenoid.

it could be done, with 3 9v. no capacitor, just a 555 oscilator and a transitor, its a really simple circuit.

Could work.

You'd have to use a direct acting solenoid valve as diaphragm ones have a resetting time which is useless for rapid cycling.

They don't have large orifices but for a bb it's not going to be a big deal ^^

One normally closed valve opening for a short time to give a burst of air from the chamber should be perfectly possible.

A tiny bolt to close off the BB feed too ^^

so using electronics to get a pulsing valve , okay but that solve only half the gun, you breeches, you could just use a pressure switch attached to the chamber to actuate the valve, it's been done before and it should have more pressure consistency thus more accuracy
