Trouble Finding Parts

I have gone to 2 Home Depots, 1 Menard's, 2 Ace Hardware's, and 3 other local hardware stores. None of them had many pressure rated pieces. I found some elbows but that's about it. All the other stuff was DWV. Is this just because Minnesota doesn't make much of it or doesn't supply much of it? I finally found the 2" to 1" bushing i was looking for at a plumbing store a ways away. Any ideas why my local Home Depot, Menard's or Ace Hardware's wouldn't have many pressure rated fittings.

try looking in your phonebook for plumbing supply stores, most of the fittings they sell are pressure rated. you can also buy fittings online

Try sprinkler.com there fittings are reasonably priced and shipping is a flat 7 dollars on most orders.

Or you could see if you have a decent lawn care store in your area that does installs of sprinkler systems, they use high pressure water so all there fittings will at least be nsf pw sch 40 and in many cases can get sch80.

i dont undersand why you cant find a pressure rated 2inch elbow. i undersand that some might not have it but all 3 stores that i go to (true value, homedepot, menards) have pressure rated 2inch elbows AND dwv in the same size/thing. so if you find a dwv then look away you might miss the good one.

at the stores did you just ask the guys or did you look for yourself?

and on your mini order expect shipping to be a significant portion of the order
