valve help

okay so yesterday i made my 2nd potato gun. its air powered (pnuenmatic) and it was working great. today i go out to shot it and the he valve is leaking bad. at 20 psi the valve just spits air out like crazy. theres nothing jammed into the valve that i can see. is there any thing i can do to fix it?

oh sorry its a ball valve. i made the mistake in buying a ball valve intstead of a solenoid.

Your ball valve is leaking? Are you sure you tefloned the threads and tightened everytrhing properly? Otherwise, it shouldn't leak.

Take it back to the store and say it's defective. then just get a new one.

oh bugger, the power just went off and on again.... any way i heard that if you put seartain lubes on ball valves, thay have sealing problems.
