Today I uploaded a video of the captive piston
arrow launcher mod to my first pneumatic QEV
cannon. When I get some time I will post pictures
and discriptive info on this fine site as I learn to
navigate here. Thanks a mil to the fine engineers
who answered my QEV question. Has anyone
performed a burst test hydro on any QEV's? Well
I will look at a rig for portable co2 regulated to
output of 0-500psi and a way to connect to npt.

hehe nice one, got to love the "PFFT! fshhhhhh..." captive piston noise.
The chamber is a bit overkill especially for high pressures but I suppose it was the only rated vessel you could find.

Thanks for the comment. The chamber is light and
made of aluminum and size is for a comfortable
stock that i can hold on to. The chamber has been
reduced in size internally. Read my discription on
the part 1 and part 2 videos. Let me know if my
post are ok. Thanks all.

Thanks for the comment.
As far as damage pics are
concerned, I destroyed
all of my arrows before i
took any damage pics.
When i get more arrows
and free time I will post
some.

Why waste arrows? Haha, put some rocks in the barrel and wad it

You got that right!! In these mourn-
ful BHO days I can't afford to waste
arrows. I only tested it with a few
inexpensive homemade arrows.
I made hundreds of 50 caliber
lead balls from dirt cheap wheel
weights and a lehman mold.
They fit in the barrel like a bb in
a .177 cal. I don't even have to
waste time with wads or patches.
a thick layer of bullet lube closes
the .0025 gap around my bullets.

Although a sharp broadhead in this
gun could kill a buffalo
I bet
Keep that discussion to a minimum though.
