Simple auto cocker mechanism...Crosman 600

Came across this in my perusing today, and remembered having a discussion with someone here about something similar.
The Crosman NS1200 (Nightstalker) works exactly the same way.
Since a picture is worth SOooooo much...

I see everything except a way to release residual pressure in the hammer? Unless I'm missing something.
Should be easy to add an exhaust port to do such a thing, though, with your facilities.

Seems like they left out some things...
like...how does pressure travel from the chamber to the exhaustport when the valvestem has the same diameter as the channel it slides in?
What holds the hammer in cocked position?
Not that hard to figure out but still...the drawing is not the complete picture....

Also this design is probably way over simplified for a user manual or something, but there is nothing holding the valve body in place either (unless there's a hollow set screw that goes through the breach transfer port). The spring for the hammer is all well and good, until you need to reset it and then the pressure on the chamber side would far exceed atmospheric lol.
There were a few CO2 powerlet designs in BB guns' and paintballs' history, the one you have posted is a good example, the PGP from paintball is a more famous example:

Have a look a little lower...there's a passage there. I hadn't noticed earlier that they had it going all the way to the valve stem seal, in the nightstalker, this passage goes to the transfer port.

Correct...it's not a patent drawing nor is it a set of construction drawings. It's merely a concept that can be utilized...but you know that already.
Of course...if someone can't figure out a sear arrangement and where to put a screw or two...that person might be better served with a safer hobby...say stamp collecting.

Doesn't make a difference since the powerlet housing is pressurised.

Seems more practical to pierce the powerlet and vent it directly into the valve as I thought they all were done. The valve just looks more equipped to deal with it than the housing.

I've also wondered why there hasn't been a set up where two valves and powerelets oppose each other so that the action of one blowback fires the other valve which then returns and repeats the cycle.
Probably best to have two barrels going for that.
That would increase the rof.
