I've been having trouble finding a schrader valve for my latest cannon. I just took an old bike tire and cut it off then epoxied the hell out of it so it can't go anywhere... but thats kinda ghetto looking.
Whats my best bet for finding an actual threaded schrader valve?
schrader valve?
The best way to go about it is to go to a home improvement or farm store, find the air compressors and talk to an employee and he/she will gladly help you.
Personaly, I use quick-disconnects controlled by 1/4" ball valves because they fill easier and faster.

I wouldn't buy one from Spudtech if I were you because of the price and the month long wait. 5 bucks is way too much just for looking a little neater. Try using the tire valve by drilling a hole in an end cap, putting some sealant on the valve, and pulling it through the hole with pliers. Drill the hole smaller than the plug on the back because you don't want it shooting back at you.

Or you could buy them from mcmaster for 2.5$ (or so) plus reasonable (and timely) shipping.
While you are doing so, mcmaster has lots of other cool stuff too.

Timely shipping? I think you mean fast... Well it's not really measurable with me because I only liev about 30 miles away so I get stuff in 1 day...
I also say use McMaster

McMaster! I ordered one and I get to pick it up at the P.O. box tomorrow. I recommend the 1/4" mnpt type, as 1/4" thread taps are a lot easier to come by.
