Sorry I have started so many threads, got a few ideas/projects on the go simultaniously, just need some guidance. I have tried searching. I have a 3/4" high flow qev that I want to pilot(trigger) using a qev as I don't think my 2 position 3 port solenoid will have enough flow Ot was the largest airtac of this style they did ( advertised as 10mm? Orrifice, it didn't mention they were pill/oblong and not round)

Is it possible to use a qev as a pilot, with the pilot qev actuated by the 2/3 solenoid valve but also having the solenoid valve still acting to fill the main qev?

Sorry its turn my brain to mush trying to get round this! Please help me. Or am I just worrying does the pilot not have to be that large, just after maximum power.
Found this (not my pic stolen from internet) Is this kind of what I need to do? With solenoid valve in place of blow gun assmebly.

Not sure if get what you mean but yes you can use two qevs like in the picture and fill/pilot using a 3/2 valve.

What size is your 3/2 solenoid valve ? If you keep the pilot volume low I think you can pilot the 3/4 qev directly with the solenoid valve.

It is the 12volt version of this

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6411 ... 8189327958

My main QEV is this Parker Hanifin 3/4" it is rayed at 10bar iircc but takes tripple that without complaint

Saw one on Ebay and was very tempted to get it to make a dual qev launcher with them in parralel, I realise it has plenty of flow just thought it may increase the kick as the valves open save having an excessive long barrel. Overal very pleased with the power using perfect fitting 12mm bearings in a steel tube/barrel. The pilot qev was his a black rectangular Chinese affair supposedly 3\4 or 1/2" but it is a size smaller than advertised, so buyer beware, personally I now try to stick with branded items, at least you get what are expecting.

I thought if I went qev piloting qev iloted by electric solenoid valve it would be faster than slide valve or will it all cause problems due to large pilot volume.

Slightly off topic think I have started enough threads! these too pictures came from google think its same gun just different stages but after black qev what have the done? What is the reddish part in first pic and the back/silver in second photo? Almost looks like some sort of ammo feeding system?
Thanks..
