It is "possible", if the leak is small-and I do stress small_to plug the leak by using a good epoxy and making sure it runs down into the leak. I have done this on one occaision and it has worked. However, I would not pressureize the gun much more than 40 psi. I agree that the best, and safest, thing to do would be to cut off the offending part and put on a new on-in the proper manner. I have never had a leak when doing as trae08 has said-that is enough glue and the importan 1/4 turn!

Yes, you should never pressurize a leaking gun, as leaks mean you didn't glue it well, and if you didn't glue it well, the stress it can handle goes down dramaticly. You may get lucky, or you may end up with the end cap flying off and hitting somebody.

First off, spudding does NOT have a bad name, and you are most certainly a *2020 Mark snips this part* to go around giving it one because you believe it already does.
And to answer your original question, put the launcher under vacuum, (automotive vacuum pump), and dab epoxy over the leak. Wait a while then remove vacuum.
And go watch Nickelodeon for while...

if you dont care about looks, you can just use epoxy puddy... oh, and if you do, try and screw the pipe and fitting together.

invest in the whopping .75$ and buy a new cap, saw off teh old one, you lose a little bit of chamber but it shouldnt make to big of a difference.
