Tokay, I had this though a few days ago in Geometry, and put it on paper.

The main problems are choking the flow, but this can be overcome since this valve would trample the 2" barrier of many union-ed hybrids. Also, The vent holes could be made larger if you wished.

The next is the spring and piston. It has to have an air tight seal at ~200 psi, and then give at ~250. The idea is, it holds back the air and propane, and the pressure caused by ignition would push it open.

Thats pretty much it. Tell what you all think. I will try to order some things from MC master and build a small one for a pneumatic in a 2" by 6" piece of pvc. I don't know how long this will take though, because most of my money is ear-marked for other things. I might set aside my Hybrid and see if this pans out, because I can promise you that if it does, my Hybrid will definitly have one.
