Spray/Blow Gun

can you use spray/blow guns from spray paint kits for a pneumatically actuated sprinkler valves?

you sure can mate, thats wat i use, but they are only presureated to 90psi but i can pump my guns upto 120psi with no miss fires or problems for that matter

most blowguns are only 45psi so 90psi is good 8)

I had one that was rated to 6 bar( around 90 psi) and I had it up to 300 psi without problems.Don't worry to much about the ratings on those things.It's more of a warranty thing than it is for safety.

I went to 100PSI on my blow gun and it doesnt work any more :(. But on a diff one I went to 200PSI and it worked.

LOL,im not really worried about a blow gun blowing up on me at 200psi i would be more worried about the valve or chamber

Blowguns are rather safe, dont get them dirt with any debree because that means trouble.

Blowguns can handle a lot more pressure than 45 or 90 PSI, but there is a limit as to what the seal can hold. I still wouldn't feel safe holding one in my hand at 200 PSI. :?

Brain,might i ask were u get a 20bar air source from i would really like to now i want to make a copper cannon with some high bar shots.
