at precisely 11:37 PST, spudfiles was officially broken, every link i clicked that pertained to the site, i got that message saying i couldn't do anything because of something to do with line 53 (i'm assuming too many users online)
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User spudfile_pcguy has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in /home/spudfile/public_html/forums/db/mysql4.php on line 53
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database
anyone care to elaborate on this? explain?fix?

I didn't even get that -- I briefly could not load any page from the spudfiles.com domain.

I suspect it was just a quick spurt of downtime for the hosting server; Maybe a service had to be bounced. Obviously, it's back. :D

PCGUY has discussed this before. Apprently someone is abusing their share of the server the site is hosted on or something. I wonder what it'll take to get it fixed once and for all.

Indeed. If more people shopped at BCARMS, we could afford a dedicated server that doesn't do this.

Lol, any reason to promote.

Is there any reason why shipping costs so damn much to Norfolk, Uk?

lol, of course thats what you would say (in order to promote your site)

but that page that popped up on you, for some reason, i get that quite often. Probably 2 times a week. maybe its a sign that i need to not be on as much.

Is there any way to figure out what other sites are run on the shared server?

I'll be sure to pimp of your name if I know anyone who's looking for some things. What's your host right now?

Nope, I don't know.

Right now it's a mix between others abusing resources (which isn't happening as much) and SpudFiles just growing too damn big for the current server I am on.

:P

Well there is this cool site...

http://www.selfseo.com/find_ip_address_of_a_website.php

But, you would have to sift through a lot of stuff...
