I sent word to PCGUY about this.
Just a guess here, it may have been currupted while the forums have been worked on.Webpage wrote:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_NAMESPACE, expecting T_STRING in /home/spudfile/public_html/spud_wiki/includes/Namespace.php on line 44

Also all the times on replys are messed up for me. It's putting them out of order. Anyone else like this? And I did check the sort order...
Edit...
I also checked the time set in my profile yesterday or the day before and had to reset that.

Life's too short to mark off the items on your wish list...

It looks like the latest version of PHP for the server that I installed has a bug which breaks the Wiki ugh....
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

Alright, I have done a number of things to the server over the past 12 hours. At this point, everything SHOULD be working fine. SpudFiles is working, the chat is working, the Wiki is now working as well, and Theopia is currently running.
The time is now fixed as well. This is one thing I have trouble controlling since my server is a virtual server, I have no control over true server time (and my host likes to update things changing the time and never fix it). If your time is still off, please go to your profile and change your timezone. If you changed it recently to make the time appear correct, you are going to need to change it again (since it works by offset and now that the time is set correctly, your offset that you changed will be wrong).
I am going to (try) to implement the chat in a different way in the near future to use a sockets based connection instead of using the database constantly to try to keep some of these issues from happening, and it should also give a nice speed boost to the chat.
As far as the Wiki breaking, it broke due to a PHP upgrade that I did to what is SUPPOSED to be a stable release, but it had bugs that specifically broke something the Wiki uses. Some of the other issues were caused from me upgrading versions of mySQL as well. I have since reverted back to an older version of PHP, and have gotten everything upgraded/configured to play nice. I have actually had to recompile Apache/PHP 3 separate times to make everything work correctly again (the first recompile failed! and left the server in a mess).
Please, experiment with the chat, experiment with the wiki (particularly logging in/out) and let me know if you have any issues.

Search doens't work.

How weird, just tried it: first try it error-ed, and after that it works fine again...jrrdw wrote:Try it again psycix, it worked for me.
I wish websites were as simple as thermodynamics.
