when i first made an account on spudfiles there was an option on my computer to remember this password and log me on everytime i visit.
For a while, when i visit the site it has my username and password typed in but im not logged on. This is very annoying because when im not on for a couple of days and i go back on the site i'm not logged on so i miss all the new threads and posts. this reduces my activity on the site just because i miss the part were you can click on the new posts. I'm sure i've missed interesting topics and spudguns.

Is this my computer or spudfiles? and can anyone else tell me how to fix this?

Same here, especially when I go into chat it often asks me to log in again. Happy its not just me.

Try this, go to home page and uncheck that box and log off. then close your browser and reopen it. After you reopen your browser return to the home page and see if that box is automatically checked, if not put a check in it and fill in your log on information and log on.

Go to a different website and come back to test this theory.

That should take care of it. If not contact PCGUY.

In addition to what jrrdw said, after following his instructions you should log out, clear your cache, close your browser(go into task manager to make sure the process has been killed) then open your browser and log in(Make sure to tell spudfiles to remember you!). If it still doesn't work, go ahead and ask PCGUY. I'm sure he won't mind =)

For those who are having this issue, do you all regularly use the chat?

As said earlier, please try to clear all of your browser cache (your cookies, etc) and login again to SpudFiles making sure the default "Remember Me" box is checked.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).
