Yeah, PVC parts - DWV or not - don't just come unglued (unless prematurely pressurized). The glue will not break. There's got to be something else wrong with it. Your first gluing must have been done wrong and from there, since the surface had been affected, the other gluings did not bond correctly either.
When you did the first glueing, did you wait the full 24 hours or just the other times after that?
