Gun mount

I'm getting old and I can't carry my big guns well anymore so I started this project. The guns will swivel left to right and up and down. The table will have a grill propane tank hanging under the table. It will have a T with lines going to each gun. Later on I will take the handles off the guns and have one control box on the back for both guns. I'm planing on putting wheels on it so I can push it around to where I will shoot them.

That looks really bnice, well done. A remote controlled electric turning/swivelling feature would be really decent on it too (but thats just my imagination!) Well done.
btw, how old are you?

Lookin' good not sure about the colour though, I think the walnut would have gone better if the launchers were plain flat black to give that antique look.

Very nice! This is probably the best gun mount I have seen yet! I really like your gun's paint jobs. At 69, you are prolly the oldest person I've seen that is still interested in spud guns. And I DON'T mean that in a bad way!

How do you get the turret to stay where you put it? Just friction, or some sort of a big gear with teeth?

Having them on more of a trailer may be the way to go. Like one of those big lawn carts with the 10inch pneumatic tires.

It all looks very nice though. At 68, you also prove a point, spud guns aren't just for kids too young/cheap to buy real guns.

Friction pretty well keeps it in place on the left to right. I have wing nuts on the up rights that I can tighten that hold guns elevation. I've always been interested in things that go bang. I've had all kinds of fire arms. Spud guns are new for me though. Gort helped me out a bunch.

Now, now, Rebalgray don't go saying you're getting old.Old is what young folks call the previous generations.You're getting to the part of life where things get fun again and you have the smarts to make it all work out.Its just a reverse teenage years.

That's probably why me and my Grandpa get along so well.

And very nice looking swivels,are they pine?They'll look good with a dark stain and high gloss.I'm a fan of that look myself.My paintball gun has wood grips and dark stain/gloss.
