Most likely your Propane\Air mixture is over %4.2 propane which causes bad igntion, or it could be much less than %4.2 propane

I doubt it's leaks in...

not a bad idea, what about if you used propain, then it's already under pressure but you'd have 2 mix air too ?

I dont think that youll have to worry about the pressure created inside in the barrel but since it is so thin you do have to worry about it bending....
