Edit: Any help on naming this would be greatly appreciated.

i haven't posted in a while as i have just started working full time.

Patent Pending.

i have upgraded my old gun, it now has about 300% improved air flow
old gun: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-co ... t8892.html

i did this by removing the bolt plug (purple thingy in the diagrams on above link) and adding a small homemade pneumatic ram that is connected to the firing chamber. So when it is pressurized the bolt moves forward when the pressure is released by firing the bolt is pulled back.

i have successively fired this in semi auto.
it has a very loud hissing sound due to the poor seal in the ram and a loud bang with each shot, so i cant really use it at home. it has a slow fire rate about 1 shot every 3 seconds but i should improve this by adding a smaller firing chamber and weaker spring inside the ram. my ammo is 15mm wood dowels, amazing fit inside the condute.

You can use this design as long as you do not sell guns or clame this design as your own.

sorry about the bad quality pics

Sweet idea, but I dont think it was worth the money to try and patent it.

Wait did you seriously try to patent it?

and is patenting things free? or do you have to pay for them to be patend?

Patenting is $360 it is not cheap by any means.

It looks like a good idea, did you tried to patent the whole gun ore only the semi-automatic shell loading.

With "real action" shell ejecting semi/full auto paintball guns on the market, I doubt it's worth the hassle of patenting.

i haven't patented it yet and most likely wont i just did not what any one else doing it.

i know there are already paint ball guns that use shells out there, but this design would be cheaper to construct due to the simplicity of the ejection/loading system.

What's wrong with someone else wanting to try it as well? That's what helps us advance our hobby, sharing ideas and seeing if someone else can reproduce a good idea, and then improve on it somehow.

i do want other people to try it i just don't want them to patent this design. Sorry if that came across wrong.

that is awesome. if they used my design they could remove the ejectors and have the used shells fall straight down. well i have my next project :D i wonder where they got those pneumatic rams?

i do want as many people to do this a possible! go do it now! NOW! HAHAHAHAH

Any one seen my marbles? i lost them.
