will this work?

It will work, but are you using it for an actual paintball gun or a cannon?

Seems to me the line is a bit small. Are you useing it as a main chamber, i don't see how it's going to work very well because of the restrickted flow???

Completely out of place but agreed, but on the topic at hand, yes that regulator will work to get a C02 tank down to air cannon operating ranges. However it may be cheaper elsewhere minus the remote.

For any questions concerning CO2, check out my CO2 FAQs page. Also, be sure to check the links inside that link. If there are any more questions, post on that page or send me a PM.

Be sure to be safe around the CO2. Don't forget to add a safety pop-off valve. Someone's Dad lost an eye because CO2 got unregulated.

The Evil Detonator is supposed to be about as good, and is only about $25. Plumb in a remote for another $20 or so and you got something for less than half the price and a few minutes of your time.

No doubt that the Evil Detonator is a good reg, but it is not compatible with CO2. It is adjustable from 100psi to 500psi (CO2 goes around 800psi).

Regulating CO2 is a joke anyway, thanks to the gas pressure laws. The pressure drops, it gets cold, pressure stays low until the tank warms up. But, there is no reason you can't use CO2 as the input gas. Sure, you won't be able to get 800 psi out, but that's why you are using a regulator, you don't want 800psi.

"The detonator is an inline reg capable of handling 100 to 500 psi outgoing pressures."

thats whats coming out right? if thats right then it will work if i can just get how to hook it up to my gun lol. but i don't know anything about this so i can be wrong.

I apologize. It is outgoing pressure. But, still, the Evil regulator is not compatible with CO2. Your best bet is Palmer's.
