ok now, i have made about 30 pnumatics, but non of them were good enough to be put on the site, they were pipe bombs, and held together with hot glue. but this one is my best, all pressure rated, homemade ball valve handle, made with a 90 degree elbow, 1" pipe, and a 45 degree elbow. it is a 1 inch ball valve, 3 foot barrel, one inch thin wall, 1 inch chamber, thick wall, with a modified plug(cut down to fit in 1 inch pvc with a ghetto lathe, handrill in vice. it goes about 250 meters at 50 psi with a potato.) the shrader is in the moded plug. here she is.

Glad to see you are not using hot glue on this build
I would like to see a coat of paint on the launcher, then whilst the paint is drying get a measuring stick and find out exactly how far that spud travelled.
Two hundred and fifty metres seems a lot at an operating pressure of only fifty pounds per square inch
Can't wait for those damage pics!

I can't quite bring myself to call that a good piece of work, and I absolutely can't believe your range estimate of 250 metres at 50 psi with a potato. The reason for this being that my HPHH has a chamber volume more than double this, a 1.5" brass ball valve, and a 1.5" barrel 4' long. And it can't get 250 metres with a potato at 300 psi.
What is your fill system for this launcher? Also, whatever is blocking the end of the chamber pipe doesn't look particularly pressure rated to me.

Maybe he meant 250 feet?

It's not a bad looking gun, and it's definitely an improvement over hot glue!

1 meter = 3.25 feet. That is a really big difference.
my suggestion is that you mod a sprinkler valve. That would majorly increase the performance, and make everyone else on the forum happy.
