My suggestion would be to drill holes in the exposed section of barrel, then sleeve the whole barrel+chamber with 2" or larger PVC (it can be DWV in this case) and maybe add a few baffles around the perforated barrel section. The baffles can be cut from thin ply or balsa wood and fixed in place with araldite.

Just make sure to clean out the inside of the barrel after you drill the holes, you might get some debris in there that would jam your projectile. Jack's idea would do you well for a silencer.

I took that for granted but thanks for mentioning it this way, you get a silencer without adding any length to your barrel or too much extra weight, and the longer you make the outer PVC tubing the more effective it will be.

Well I've worked with... well... stupid people long enough that I feel I have to mention these things. It probably goes without saying, but the things people do when you don't warn them of the obvious...

sorry just thought about this if you remove the second front mounted schrader and attach a continuous air source to the back would it be a semi auto...

If you can't do better, you can always go bigger, or use higher pressure, or go semi auto, of full auto...or bigger and full auto at higher pressure...or bla blabla...

Seudo441, I just centered the barrel with some scrap 1/2 copper pipe and as for the chamber volume, I have absolutely no idea.

Thanks alot for all the comments, I really appreciate it. Urgh I'm getting sick of small bore pistons. My sealing face keeps on getting ripped clean off and shot out the barrel I'm gonna try and myself a solid rubber piston if I can or if not, find some wooden dowel thats the right fit and just use that. hmm....

Very nice gun. The only thing that makes me slightly nervous with that style is the schrader pointing directly into your eye. They probably fail very rarely but for safety I always mounted them on an elbow pointing to the side.

Hawkeye, out of everything on this gun, the valve at the back is the thing im least worried about. I've compression fitting'ed it in. I've placed the gun in a vice, pumped it up to 120psi and then pulled with all my weight back on the valve with a pair of plyers. It's about as rock solid as you can get .

Its hard to say man but I dunno...maybe 60 or so. Not too bad.
