gorilla glue

I wanted to glue something for a project i had tonight and when i went to go get the gorilla glue, i found that the whole thing hardened up like a rock. I went in my garage to see if the thing was as hard as it seemed so i put it in a vice and beat the living **** out of it and it didn't break. I was wondering if this could be an alternative to using epoxy, since my mom won't let me buy some off the internet.

Gorilla glue is indeed a lovely alternative to epoxy, I use it to seal threads in my air cannons. Also if I mess up and the PVC didn't seal perfectly, just run a bead of that around it and voile.

You don't need to buy epoxy offline, any hardware store carries it on a regular basis. But yea, Ive used gorilla glue on threads before.

Read the label-it should say how long it will dry, and how long it takes to fully cure.

Yeah, but i plan on using it to seal the barrel on a coaxial and maybe even a piston? Will this work?

I think it will work to seal the barrel but it works by expanding like 20 times the starting amount, and furthermore it is mainly meant for porous materials, aka not PVC.

I would think it would work, though I haven't used it in that application.

i have used it on a combustion before and it held just fine, the only problem with it is that it expands when it dries, which would put pressure on the pipe and fitting and therefor i would NOT use it on a pneumatic

I have the bottle in my hand and it says it cures in 24 hours.

If it is all cured how is it still in the bottle if it will expand 20 times its starting size?

Maybe it all didn't cure, if you don't believe me, put a drop or two on the table and come back in a few hours.

Oxygen could help accelerate the process of drying/expanding too.
