I bought my radio system from ebay, it's a 7 channel Airtronics Vavgaurd 600G FM narrow banded, (built by Sanwa). 72 Megahertz on channel 38, (72.555 range is for aircraft only), it's used but in great shape, i paid $128.50 for the hole radio system-4 servos, receiver, transmitter, crystals, battery packs and charger. The last time i looked Tower Hobbiers was selling this radio system for $400.00 or so.
I made out good! Even though i paid 1/4 the price i still would not let it get shot up, that would suck!!! If anybody here is going to due this do your home work on the electronics. There is allways cheeper systems but the rule of thumb is-the more you pay the better the features, more control channels, (mine has 7), better distance, (mine is safe to about 1000 meters), so on so on ect.....
