Best lubrication for piston valve?

The I.D of a 4" fitting isn't exactly 4" btw, I think it's a bit bigger.

Ah, true. I think it is still large enough actually, but in the event that it is not i do have multiple ones of the rubber flap sink/tub plugs i mentioned before.
