Well regulating a 20l tank at 80psi, for my cloud lasted only about 7seconds straight, before it goes under 60psi and has crap power.

'Spose you could always stop when you get to 60psi, and then pump it back up again, it'd save you a bit of time. But you'd still have to have a decent sized chamber on it.

Ah thanks, what did I do to deserve that? :)

How big would a "decent sized chamber" be you think? I'm looking to make a bbmg something along the dimensions of the Strafer Mk2 and your average joe bbmg. It doesn't need to be overly powerful, in fact, it'd be good if I could vary the power so i could have safe fights with my mates at closish range and then amp it up so it kills coke cans.

Unless you want a full galvanised metal cloud/vortex with 450psi running through it Shocked Smile
Pressure tested a "Coffin" setup to 300 psi before minor leaks occurred.

I will eventually order a 800psi valve, I'll let you know the fps.

The Coffin is in my .50 cal I scratch built last year.

you're obviously a talented man, Big Ed.
Too bad just a side rear shot of your beast. My inquisitive build from a pic mind is frothing at the mouth to see more of this magnificence.
If you really did that, I have no doubt about a few other things you either have tried, thought about doing or will end up doing...imagine that system on a larger scale or two: bulk steel bearings, ....hmmmm...golfballs...
I'm gonna have to go change my pants and tell the wife she's outa luck tonight, I'm already spent!

(Built 2 mounting systems, M3 tripod, and a pedestal mount.)

I use a 20lbs CO2 tank to power the .50 and a portable Trident 81mm.

Double barreled breech loading, 2.625" (tennis balls & water balloons), 1.5" (smokes)

(I will eventually post it in the showcase. I don't want to completely hi-jack this thread.)
