Made a new barrel today 12 mm diameter still dont know if im goign 2 use it for this one or for another one. Im scared the presure will be 2 big for an 12mm diameter barrel look for my combustion chamber volume on the top of the topic.

the pressure definatly wont be too much, combustions only make 20-50 psi.

Yo should i use pure butane or butane from hairpray?

Don't use hairspray. It gums your chamber up. Smaller diameter pipe can usually hold more pressure.

I've put 22 bar on a 12 mm copper pipe.Not that you should but the smaller the diameter the stronger it is.Less surface area for the air to push on.No combustion chamber is gonna blow that barrel up.

Since you use all metal you could try starter fluid.(starter spray bij de halfords)

that wont be a very powerful combustion because the C:B ratio is way off

the C:B ratio is much much biger than an normal spud gun so with some pure oxygen in combination with:

butane
Ether

it is kinda powerfull, with hairspray the projectiles often comes 20- 40 meter away with a ugly parabole. But im working on better fuels so stay tuned.
