Over Easter weekend I worked on many projects.... while building the base for a large treehouse, I threw a toy together for my brothers to play with. Essentially, it is just a 2" x 60" pvc pneumatic chamber with a simple ball valve that is tied into a 4" x 18" steel sch 10 pipe. Fill the 4" pipe up with sawdust, put a bit of gas on the top, light it on fire and let the air loose. The more sawdust and corresponding amounts of air, the larger the fireball.

Thats freakin awesome. I gotta give you a hand on that. Unfortunately I think that might be against some of the rules of the forum. I dont wanna look it up right now about flaming projectiles, just dont be suprised if this gets locked.

I have eight 5-gallon buckets full of sawdust flour- very very fine sawdust that I will use later this spring and closer to dark so that you can see it better.Jared Haehnel wrote:Basically saw dust a form of very low grade of explosive so it doesn't surprise me...you'd get even better results if you used a flour...
