Following up from CO2 FAQs, I thought some of you may be interested in this.
I made this calculator and, to my knowledge, is as accurate as possible. It calculates the amount of CO2 needed for a certain size chamber (in ounces).
It also estimates the number of fills a certain chamber will get and calculates the amount of pressure generated from a 12g (or the size chamber at a certain pressure. I tried to make it as user friendly as possible.
If anyone finds any mistakes (or have any comments) please let me know and I will fix or appreciate them. Also, if anyone sees anything that I left off, please let me know and I will update.

good job, i'm thinking of adapting my winter rifle to co2, does c02 have any performance advantages of air of the same pressure?
Actually, for winter usage, you will probably experience a decrease in performance using CO2. Or, at least, that is my experience. If you are going to use it for winter usage, insulate the bottle and chamber.
As far as CO2 having an advantage over regular air, I have not noted any. It just makes things convenient.

hmm when i get some paintball stuff and upgrade to HPA then i will probably use my co2 bottle for my cannons but until then i think i will stick with air.
Sorry for the double post.
The file has been updated. The calculator remains the same, but I have added a design sheet for combustion / hybrid launchers, pneumatic launchers, and BBMGs. Those, along with the Read Me file, are in PDF format.
Check it out and tell me if 1) the calculator has errors and 2) the design sheets need to be added to or anything.

I had to fetch a new program to open it, but it looks good.
good job, one problem with the hybrid part, to adjust the mixes by using the arrow buttons, it doesn't let you because it says that it is protected and we need a password...

Sorry. It's been fixed.
Any other problems? What about my attempt at the Design Sheets?
