Why have a chatroom that people have to download and learn an IRC client for, when there is one already here on SpudFiles that ties into the userbase so there is never any question of who is who.
Just sucks when you get 10+ people in there and it'll take 5 seconds or so for your responce to make it through. Kinda like chatting on a fast loading forum.
That will change very soon :wink:
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

It really doesn't sound like a good idea to me, I really don't think there would many people that would use it, especially when nobody really uses the chat room on here that is a lot easier than IRC.
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.
