I was bored and it is hot outside. I had a empty fire extinguisher lying around. I desided to transform it into a supersoaker. To do this a took the top off by the Extinguisher by inscrewing it. Then i emptied the power into a ballon. You now have a powdered grenade. Now go throw it at something.
Now Back to the Extinguisher get a pop in schrader valve. Find what size hole it uses and drill that in the bottom of the Extinguisher on the flat part. now stick in the valve and pull. It's in. Right?
Now fill the Extinguisher with water and screw the top on. then using a air compressor or a bike pump will it until the guage says full. ~175 PSI. Now point it away from you and squeeze the trigger. Fun EH?

I also did this, fun eh? I couldn't take mine up to really high pressures because of my pump but it works nicely. Just check inside yours to see what is made of. Some are made out of cast iron and can rust. After each time I am finished with mine I dry the inside and spray it with wd40. Emptying the powder stuff out of it when it is still pressurized is a lot more fun though.

I think it would make a good air source for a cloud or strafer. Even a single shot bb sniper, you could get loads of shots out of that thing. Depending on how big your chamber is.

Wait, that is awsome! you could have a small chamber and some sort of piston or diaphram valve to fire the bb and a ball valve to meter the amount of air for each shot. My fire extinguisher has a schardar valve screwed in the side and I can fill it with anything. I plan to use co2.(propane for a combustion)

What sort of flow and capacitiy do you get out of this cannon?
Did you get the pop-in valve from a bike shop? I haven't heard of them before. Unfortunately my cannon has a pressure gauge wherre you put your fill valve so I may have to improvise.

Don't try alcohol and a lighter...please.. :D

Well if you do you can;t brag about it here...

I have always thought about building a supersoaker ( high pressure) but I never did.
This idea is so much simpler...but still a properly built "squirtgun"would look better..

This is just.....an old fashion F.E....from way back when they only had water...

I made one of these before pretty fun I got mine at a garage sale for $3
:P I washed windows with it try putting some dish soap in it it doesn't do anything to the internals if you are wondering pretty cool efect. It wouldn't be good for a bbmg I put in 160psi and it olny lasts for about 5seconds.

The nozzle isn't on this. The tank is rated to 300psi it's aluminum.

You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

Wait a minute.....what would happen if you used lead bb's ( to sink) and turned this into a supersoaker and bbmg in one??

You get what I mean??

Like ..a bbmg, but with an extra waterfilled reservoir..

That would produce quite a beam!
