To the OP-
If you get a 3/8ths QEV and pilot your Piston with that. you can use a 35A series 3 way valve in a normally closed positon to fire your cannon.
The valve is 12v 5.4 watt and 1/8th NPT fittings should run you $18-$20 depending on who your distributor is.

hmm website says they only have 24v now. They have 12v call your distributor and tell him what you want.
