May all your fireworks explode safely and in a timely manner. May all your grills cook good food. May all your beer flow smoothly (if you're of age, of course). Too bad I got to f****** work :x

For the rest of you, have a good one.

For all you non-Americans, you can have a happy Fourth of July too.

It's good to be a part of a great nation. In my opinion this sense of unity is what makes the US so powerful while Europe remains a loose collection of disjointed nations.

Happy independence day :)

Jan 26 is a different story though huhh Carl... For those not familiar, Jan 26 is Australia Day, very similar to Independance Day in the US. I had the priviledge of actually being in Perth, W.A. during Australia Day back in '97. Great times for sure....on average, you aussies are sure laid back, esp on the west coast.

Now it's time to point out that Cleveland was a UK county first. :P
Not very inventive you Yanks, you took a lot of UK county names, and then, if you were feeling energetic, just added "New" to the beginning. :D

Anyway, enjoy yourselves. I've never been a fan of celebrating wars, but if that's what you wanna do, whatever.

I on the other hand shall be going by one of my many life mottos: "If war is the answer, it must have been a silly question."
This motto can be adapted to many things - just swap out the word "War" with the item of your choice.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Bah, you just jealous ‘cause you don’t live in a place were HEAL is legal. :D
4th o’ July is not celebrating a war, it’s celebrating our independence from the tyranny of the Crown. ;)

As for me, I’m going to see if a can’t find that leftover 55 gallon drum Napalm and that crate of C4… should make a nice big fire ball…

On a more serous note, this evening I’ll most likely be getting some quality time with a mortar. :D

Ah whatever, there are still many songs that are specifically pointing out that "Cleveland rocks".

But eh, you know the colonists were british after all, so that shows something about you guys too

But in all seriousness, its just a day to celebrate, watch fireworks, and other amusing [explosive] things. So thats what about 90% of the population thinks about on this holiday.

Noble thoughts, but given modern American politics I doubt you're really better off now

Never said we were…

But yeah your right, it’s sad…
Almost to the point were the 4th will be for 21 gun salutes instead of fireworks…

Dang stupid politicians, why don’t they all just crawl back into the hole from whence they came…
