God I will be soo pissed (I'm sure everybody who enjoys this hobby will be) if this gets banned.
It's been banned here and in most places since before you were born. It really wouldn't be the end of the world if it was banned in one more place. Some of the best work in the hobby comes from countries where it hasn't been even remotely legal in living memory. Legally, I have owned more than ten unlicensed firearms since May of 2007 (although never more than 2 at the same time).
I'm actually surprised that spudding still isn't illegal in the States - it would be a great non-issue for someone to pick up to distract the populace from the real problems (as seems to be the standard). I'm sure someone will pick up on it eventually, as it only just slips through the cracks of the ever-tightening net now.
