Did Larda ever mention in his thread that, even in the 1km/s muzzle speed range, the HGDT outputs were accurate to better than a +/- 10% margin of error? That program is more accurate than most people give it credit to be, if you really know your input parameters. Considering that it has that kind of accuracy at over 100x, the 11x numbers, which aren't even trans-sonic in the propellant gas, should be pretty good.That of course implies that we trust HGDT
I'd venture to guess that it's almost as accurate as GGDT.

I don't doubt that given D_Hall's experience and knowledge, it should be good, but where I've been able to assess GGDT myself with my homemade chronies(it's usually within 5% or so), as I've never built a hybrid myself (and when I do, it'll not fit to all the normal parameters of hybrid) I've not had the chance to assess HGDT for myself.DYI wrote:I'd venture to guess that it's almost as accurate as GGDT.
