marble machine gun options?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

soo i'm debating between different options for a marble machine gun...

i'm debating between a paddle style system and a system like brian the brains- http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/deathra ... 12290.html

or i might go with brain the brain's original design with the riser tube

either way its gonna be a QEV activated by a pop off... i just cant decide on the loading system..

so if any of y'all could offer me some pros/cons i would really appreciate it thanks a lot

maybe a qev operated by a modded blowgun or ball valve. or you could use some sort of hammer valve. maybe look at ants designs and get somebody to machine the parts. just look in the classifieds section and pm somebody to machine something for you
Yeah, it's that important.

I'd say use the blow-forward bolt system. I literally can't count on both hands how many times I've discouraged people from using the paddle system on smaller projectiles like marbles. They work on things like golfballs or tennis balls, whereas GalFisk has gotten the blow-forward system to work on 6mm BB's.

Very true. But the rise tube is much simpler to make.
If you don't mind firing shattered glass once every 8 shots or so, it's great!

Plus I would like to see somebody copy it! :D

The blocker bolt is a headache to copy, trust me.The headache is for me in this case...You will be asking a lot of questions

i think i will go with the riser tube..but make the riser much shorter because no offense BTB but your first one seemed to be wasting energy because it had to push the marble so high... so i think i'll make it shorter. I think a shorter riser might help prevent breakage also

absolutely true.

I didn't have the fittings or pipe to do so back then ( used an old pipe with the compression rings already on it)
and I figured it made a nice buttpad.

In fact, it should be as short as possible.

I no longer like grav. feed though

yea i was going to change that as well.. i think i'm going to incorporate this into some sort of assault rifle/machine gun design that is clip fed...

i'm leaning towards the M249 SAW or a tactical M4
