how to "hook up" QEV

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

what goes where?- there are 3 ports on the QEV- and which one does the barrel , chamber and fill/exhaust go into?

sorry i just had a COMPLETE brain fart and totally forgot

ok, my QEV is a standard MCmaster that doesn't look like that but i'll try and figure it out

Ok the mcmaster ones have words on them.

The Exaust is the barrel, The In is the fill/pilot

The Cylinder or Cyl (it says cyl) is the chamber.
4SPC, My 4" piston 3" porting cannon
Memo:
Fix up copper cannon
Fix up 4SPC
Start Stirrup pump
Start Toolies piston bazooka

ok.... but what if the QEV is for a piloting valve on a t-shirt launcher?? how would i hook er up then?

would in be fill/pilot,

exhaust have nothign hooked up,

cyl go to the gun?

Remind the construction of a barrel sealing piston valve, QEVs basically are that and so, the chamber is basically always on the side port.
For the remaining ports, watch the arrows. If there arent any but there is text look for "IN" or something like that, it has to be the pilot, since air goes in (and out) the pilot, but not in the barrel.
