using valve exhaust with grav mag

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Will it work?

Maybe, if the design is improved.

Ok, I just got this idea into my head today. I was thinking about both a paintball barrel and a way to use the exhaust of my gun & I came up with this crazy idea. Basically, a hose is connected to the exhaust, which goes to a small piston (bolt?) behind a gravity magazine. When the gun is fired, the bolt prevents another paintball from falling into the barrel.

teh feets! Aaaaargh!

but yes, good idea, in some ways similar to the blow forward bolt but using exhaust gas that would otherwise be wasted, ingenious. I see no reason why it shouldn't work well with a bit of work.

Not too obvious at first :P

But that also uses an air blast while firing to close off the magazine. It doesn't use pilot gas because that one uses a trigger that physically holds back the pressure til right back, it uses the main air blast as it goes along to the pb.
