Anyone here know the website HecklerSpray? It's from the UK I think.
Anyway it's like a news blog, but they like to take the piss out of celebrities and stuff, really funny.

Anyway they have a thing called 'WEBTHUMP' where they list top 10 things they have found on the internet every few days, like videos, games etc.

Anyway I decided to email them with a link to my golfball cannon on Instructables, and they put it at number 1! :P

They get about 700,000 unique hits a month, if only 10% visit the link to my cannon, that's 70,000 people.

Just thought i'd share that with you :)

edit: and yeah I do realise they spelt yards wrong, they put years :lol:

I'd be happy to see some new SF members, but we couldn't handle 70,000. 70 would be pushing it in terms of a rush of new people - well, active newbies at least.

Haha, I reckon only a few thousand would click the link anyway, 90% of that would probably be entertained by the thought of a golfball travelling several hundred feet per second and forget about it. Then maybe 1 or 2% would think about building one. Maybe .5% will end up making a cannon, and a fraction of that finding the site.

So my estimate, about 5-6 new members :wink:
