I made a paintball vortex gun

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

beveling the breach of the PB barrel.

Is your best bet for a easy fix. Less chance of all the above problems.

It's breaking balls (and once one has gone, the others all go), using CO2 like nothing else, the range leaves quite a lot to be desired, it can't accept a load of more than 100 balls at a time... which is basically all the problems that such designs have long since been predicted to have.

All credit to scavies for trying it, and certainly no offence intended - he's done good work, but until I can see those problems fixed, this isn't really "proof" such a design is feasible.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Yea my goal was to find out why it doesn't work in the first place, and words just wern't enough since I'm such a dork. If it works that's a plus.

Anyway, I got plenty of work to do before I can even think of taking it on the field.

What if you used a secondairy chamber with a large porting to the vortex chamber to be sure of enough pressure and flow goin in.

I also throw my bets on the rim of the barrel thats breaking the balls.
Make a smooth transition to the barrel, maybe with some form of glue.
