You tell me that I should put 4 spark plug ?!?!?
One spark plu will be fine, you should have a stun gun so you can away from it when fireing. another thign is to get a 1/8" cross ands put it in the end cap on the side were it is double plastic and have a check valve -then the tee and a PSIG and a ball vavle to release the PSI, on the other end of the cross put a ball valve and a shrader vavle for easy filling of the air. Get a 30PSI gauge so you can fill it good.
You should also go with a 2" camlock becasue this way you can get more air flow out of it. And the spark plug you need is a NGKBPR6ES and to get a little more power strech it out to 24". A nother thing, have you ever built a full size propane cannon?

One spart isn't fine in a Hybrid, if a hybrids propane lights to unevenly it could have dangerous results... You also need a remote ignition, so you need a stun gun...
Lol, "Drawed by Fred_roux"
It would be Drawn in English...
It's a nice design though, And with a 30 psi gauge like WOW says wouldn't work for much over a 2x mix... 3x mixes have 29.4 psi, and it's not good to use pressure that close to the top of your gauge, when you shoot it'll backtrack and probably break you gauge....

BTW: I use a spark plug on my hybrid. All I can say is when I have the perfect mix and the fan running for 10 seconds it's makes one of thoses f****** sharp BANG

"Draw" is another of those irregular verbs.
it looks like a good old hybrid to me. looks a little too safe
i don't understand why people are so hybrid chicken if you meter the propane and air correctly and keep it below 4x.
boogieman from advancedspuds has put 6x mixes in his plastic hybrid, but he's one's of the greatest spudgun masters out there and he prolly metered the mixes with excellent precision.
and frogy, you can attach a ball valve before the guage, so when ur firing you can close it off and keep the guage from being subject to pressure.
EDIT: WOW already said that.

Well since the gauge is only 30psi he cant use 3x mixes becuase that's put him over 30 psi because you need to add 29.7+ + the propane's pressure might fluctate, and if you gauge is 100psi, you don't want to fill it to 99psi because it's #1 not good for most gauges #2 not as accurate at it's top pressure on most gauges...
If you have a Grade 4A Glycerine filled 30psi gauge you'd be ok, but I don't suspect you are going to spend a few hundred on a gauge...
Hybrids almost never blow up, except for the weird union explosion thing...

Metering your mixes doesn't have to do anything with you gun now blowing out... You just open and close the ball valves 6 times and take the gun upto 73.5 psi and use about 13 layers of alluminum foil for a burst disk....hose_spud wrote:boogieman from advancedspuds has put 6x mixes in his plastic hybrid, but he's one's of the greatest spudgun masters out there and he prolly metered the mixes with excellent precision.

I plan to do 4X mix ...
don't know a whole lot about hybrids but i would like to gain some knowledge incase i make one in the future.
will cam lever couplings be better than a union? cause the cam lever
would be more likely to blow out than explode i think.
so the bbq is hooked up to a spark plug on the hybrid @ the top of this page. what does this do compared to just putting screws in?

I know that I have to be far when I shoot .... I dont need a stungun for it i juste need a long electric wire ...
I cant have a stungun because i live in canada, stungun are illegal here.
Camlock Is BETTER THAN AN UNION union are weak and they break easily. Layer of alluminium are easy to put in the camlock.
and Mihlrad please dont post again in my thread, I dont like you.
I just build a dual spark system powered by a BBQ ignitor. Look and tell me what you think ok this :
