I can get coconuts around here. Just has to be the right climate, you don't have to live in Hawaii.

Now to find some bamboo for a barrel...

Instead of using that sort of stuff to build the gun, you could also build one and use a coconut and bamboo to cover it up. More power and reliability, and the same looks.

This would be great fun: a banana pistol. :D
