Ahh it's nice seeing people do something that's never been done in our day and age. Not much at all these days is truly unique.

I really do take my hat off to you Subsonic.

Um, I'm pretty sure this has been done several times before, or maybe I'm just mistaken, but I am pretty much 100% sure this idea has been around for a while.

Agree with you there sputnick.

It is not a new idea, it has been around for a while. I don't want to take credit for the idea, I am just constructing it in a different manner and incorporating the ammo feed into a single unit 8)

So this idea of QEV made out of a solid block of acrylic (or whatever it might be) has been around for a while?

:? I've been a member for a long time on here and not once have I seen it.

Thought you were talking about the QEV pop off idea, not the construction materials. Yep I don't think I have seen one made the same, so I guess you are right :D

:D Exactly. Sorry, I should have said that. You guys were right through, the pop off idea has been around for about 18 months. It's only really taken off since Psycix and yourself brought back the idea. I for one did not get many comments for my gun but that's understandable when I'm just another moth attracted to the flame that is semi/full auto.

No problem, thanks for the good comments.

By the way, who came up with the idea of the QEV Popoff, or using a Popoff as a pilot? I have not been able to find any thread that claims it as a new idea.

I promise you JSR will find it. He's like the Grand Poobaa in the world of Spuddies.

It's funny how spudding goes in cycles. It wasn't long ago that small bore and high pressure was the fad.

Well I'm going to make a fully auto marble gun just to be a smart arse :D

Since the master is here, what's next for BTB? Some sort of Rail Gun? :D

I might have to start working a fully auto slightly bigger than a marble gun then :D
actually I might see if I can get my QEV and ammo feed to keep up with my hammer valve repeater I made before the QEV gun, 28 rounds per second with the current layout would be very interesting. It would certainly make a mess of a watermelon

Well I finally got around to putting a test barrel and mag on the new QEV, and I am very happy with the results :D

I added a spring to the mag and boy dose it improve ammo feeding. Now able to fire at 12-13 rounds per second with a muzzle velocity of between 480-520 fps and just over 10ft/lbs and that is only with the pop off set at about 12bar

I did a whole heap of damage testing the last two days on just about everything I could think of:

Going to make a 90round mag parallel with the barrel next and also trigger the gun with a solenoid, Then I can start working on some ergonomics.
