I like that gun so much at the moment that I added a breach load that was reserved for one of my bigger guns.

Well, looks bad ass....

Close up of the breach. I will also add a handle.

Made some test shots and the results were not disappointing but also not as good as i expected.

I simply build too fast.... I have multiple leaks (noticeable at 200psi +) and the breach load doesn't seal 100%. :cry:

I'm going to disassemble the gun an try again.

Slap on a couple more layers of Teflon tape and really crank those fittings together.

For the breach, maybe try a sealing gasket that makes a seal when you close the bolt.

I've found the problem...
The hose barb that the piston seals against is screwed "upside down" so I had to wrap the teflon tape in the other direction (forgot about that).

I made a test shot at 245psi on a 3cm wooden board (5" nail) and it went right through. :twisted:

Nice :) could the aiming fail be coming from the fact that you weren't shooting from rest?

Try resting the launcher on a bench or something and try shooting a group of 5-10 shots, with the laser attached and always pointing at the same spot - see if it groups at random.

I will try that but the biggest problem in my opinion is the alignment of laser and barrel (just zip tied it)

Why not buy a proper laser, they're not that expensive.

Well jack's idea is the best thing either way. If it's random groupings you need to probably find better ammo. If your groupings are tight then it's just a matter of adjusting your laser to compensate for it.

The darts are ok and very accurate at short distance.

@jsr
I bought this cheap laser to disassemble it and give it a new housing/switch that fit the gun. I'd rather build than buy something.
